What is salary and attendance software?
Software that records who worked which days and turns that straight into what each person gets paid. Instead of keeping a hazri register and then doing the maths separately at month end, attendance and payroll are one system — the salary figure updates every time attendance is marked.
How is this different from the free salary calculator?
The calculator works out one month from numbers you type in by hand — useful, but you start from an empty form every month and nothing is stored. The software keeps the attendance itself, so the salary is already calculated before you go looking for it, and last month's record is still there when someone questions it.
Can staff mark their own attendance?
Yes. Each staff member gets their own login and can mark themselves in, and you see it live. If you would rather control it yourself, you can mark everyone from one screen instead.
Does it handle overtime and advances?
Both. Overtime is entered as hours and paid at the OT rate you set. Advances are logged on the day they are given and deducted from that month's payable automatically, so nothing depends on anyone's memory.
Can I send payslips to staff?
Yes — each person can be sent their own breakdown on WhatsApp showing present days, half-days, overtime, advance and net payable. Most payroll arguments end once the maths is visible.
